Sarah
Matton B.F.A, A.D.A.P.T, P.A.E.C, A.R.A.D
Sarah is a highly motivated performer with twenty
years training in many disiplines. After taking her first
ballet class at the age of four, she continues to develop
her craft and expand her knowledge in the world of dance.
Sarah attended Ryerson University’s dance program where
she achieved her BFA. She is a certified Jazz and Tap teacher
under the ADAPT syllabus and a certified Acro teacher under
PAEC. She is also an associate of the Royal Academy of Dance
after successfully completing her advanced ballet exam in
2001. Sarah has a diverse background with examination
achievements in Intermediate 3 Tap and Pre-Advanced Jazz
(ADAPT), Advanced Modern (ISTD), Advanced II Ballet (RAD),
she has also taken (CDTA) Tap and Jazz and (BATD) Ballet.
Her other training extends from Modern, Lyrical, Acro and
Song & Dance. This past summer, Sarah performed
at Stirling Festival theatre and played the role of Cassandra
in CATS. She also recently appeared on Canada’s new hit
series “Being Erica” as a dancer. Sarah also had the opportunity
to work for Royal Caribbean cruise lines, where she perfomed
and toured Bermuda, New England and the Eastern Caribbean.
She also performed at fFIDA, Toronto’s week long dance festival.
Surrently, Sarah performs with “Lady Luck Productions” in
and oout of the GTA. Sarah is grateful for the influence
her past teachers have had on her and hopes she can inspire
the next generation!

Denise
Simpson
Miss Denise Simpson credits her artistic background
and love of the arts to her family coming from a line
of painters, musicians, and dancers.
Denise’s dance career began at the age of three where
she studied tap, ballet, jazz, acro, baton, and highland.
She then entered and graduated from the National Ballet
School of Canada’s full time professional program. She
went on to attend Ryerson University, George Brown College
and York University’s dance programs while training
abroad in her summers at Pineapple Dance Studios in
Covent Garden, England.
Denise has danced roles such as leading Willie opposite
Vanessa Harwood and Mazurka girl in Les Sylphides. Denise
has performed in the Unwanted choreographed by Jean
Louis Moran and has had roles created for her such as
‘White Girl’ by Angela Leigh.
Denise’s career has taken her to places such as Hong
Kong as a guest teacher and to Cuba as part of a Canadian
delegation of artists. Denise enjoyed the opportunity
of being head of the dance program at O’Neill Collegiate’s
performing arts program for many years as well as running
her own dance studio ‘The Dance Class’ for ten years.
Denise’s creativity has been sought out by dancers as
well as national level gymnasts and skaters. Denise
is artistic coordinator for the “Danceforit” benefit
working with talents from So You Think You Can Dance,
the National Ballet of Canada and Tap Dogs. Denise is
also head judge on the reality “Kidzforit” TV series.
Denise hopes she can bring her expertise and passion
for dance to all of her students.

Natasha Gibson
Natasha (Nash) Gibson has extensive training
in Tap, Jazz, Stylized Jazz, Hip Hop, and Ballet for over
26 years. She graduated from the George Randolph School
Of The Arts in Toronto in 1995 where she had the opportunity
to work closely with such people as George Randolph himself
(Former Director/Alvin Ailey Company NYC), Ron Singer (Theatre
Director/Ryerson University & Producer of Bravo Television),
Stephanie Gorin (Casting Director/Beauty & The Beast, Crazy
For You, etc.) She has worked closely with such
people as Gregory Hines, Ian Thomas, Whoopi Goldberg, Liberty
Silver, Glass Tiger, Tony Vagg, Roxanne Butterly, Brian
Foley and Savion Glover, to name a few. Nash has performed
in such musicals as West Side Story, and spent two years
traveling as an original member of the Next Step Canadian
Tap Crew. Students who have trained extensively
with Nash have gone on to perform with such artists as Aaron
Carter, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson and Madonna.
Her teaching, performance, choreography, and adjudicating
skills have placed her in demand all over the world as far
east as Bosnia, and as far north as the Artic Circle.

Kerry Brough
Kerry is the Creator and Founder of “Danceforit”.
A unique show that cobines professional and amateur dancers,
in an effort to raise awareness and funding for Cancer research
and slo aides other charities. Celebrity guests have included
Blake McGrath, Tina Pereira, Helix Dance Project-Linda Garneau/O.I.P
Dance Centre-Danny Davalos/Bobby Newberry/ Anthony Russo
- Tap Dogs/ The National Ballet of Canada/ Tre Armstrong-SYTYCD/
artists from Moi Management/ R&B recording artist DRU/ David
Clemmer & Bruce Turner-Style By Jury/ Award winning dance
studios and many more who all lend their love and support
for a cause. Kerry’s most recent project was creating
and producing the TV show, “Kidzforit…Live” - a reality
show, involving talented kidz and their journey in the entertainment
world. Graduate of the National Institute of Broadcasting
and appeared on guest spots on radio as well as some voiceover
work in commercials. Kerry formerly danced and choreographed
for Carnival Cruise Lines as well as choreography for the
production of a James Bond special for CBC also receiving
choreography awards for the stage production of “South Pacific”.
Known for her tapping ability she had her feet recorded
as an instrument for CinemaFace. Tapping since she was 3
years old she eventually became a member of the Canadian
Dance Teachers Association. Many of her dancers have gone
on successfully to represent Canada in the World Tap Championships.
She also had pink tap shoes designed exclusively for her
dancers for Breast Cancer. For over 10 years Kerry
taught and redesigned the dance program at Monsigor Paul
Dwyer Catholic High School for their performing arts program.
“Miss Kerry” is currently teaching and choreographing
at Traditions Dance Academy, Coburg Dance Alliance, Precisions
Dance Company as well as adjudicating and creating specialized
choreography for young dancers that continue to inspire
her every day.

Sandra
Edmondson
Miss Sandy is trained in BATD, as well as gymnastics,
vocal and theatre. Miss Sandy began performing on Broadway
at the age of twelve, in such shows as Annie and Cats.
She also filmed many commercials with companies such
as Kraft Peanut Butter and Cheerio’s, and appeared on
television shows like Night Heat.
Sandra attended Etobicoke School of the Performing Arts
(Major in Vocal and Minor in Dance) and spent time in
the Seneca Gymnastics program as well as The Scarborough
Olympians Gymnastics Team.
Miss Sandy spent each summer training at the Malvern
School of the Performing Arts, Majoring in Musical Theatre.
She studied drama and television read classes at Eleanor
Folture, as well as runway, hair & make-up, and television
and filming at John Casablanca.
Miss Sandy has excellent vocal training, having spent
five years with the Royal Conservatory of Music, and
performed for three years with the Scarborough Schools
Concert Choir.
Sandra is now working as a full time representative
for the best children’s talent agency in Durham region,
as well as at Precisions Dance Company.
Miss Sandy uses her experiences and training in the
industry to create fun and memorable routines for her
students. Miss Sandy continues to train in Musical Theatre
to update her style and keep things fresh and interesting.
Miss Sandy’s competitive musical theatre and vocal routines
have won many special and overall awards.

Jenn
Frost
Miss Jenn began her dance career at the age of 7, training
privately in the form of Highland dance. At the age
of 10 she was enrolled in hip hop classes at The Studio
of Dance and Performing Arts (Traditions Academy of
Dance). By age 14 Jenn had become a member of the competitive
dance team, performing in groups, duets and solos. Her
hard work did not go un-noticed, winning her many awards
while competing at the Regional and National level.
Throughout elementary school Jenn performed many lead
roles in her schools theatrical performances, including
her favourite as “Sandy” from the musical Grease.
Jenn continued to study the art of dance throughout
her high school years, training in jazz, ballet, lyrical,
tap and hip hop…her personal fav! Again, Jenn’s hard
work was rewarded when she received the highest mark
of her class. She is currently studying Fashion Arts
at Seneca College, while teaching both recreational
and competitive dancers of all ages and levels.
Jenn continues to entertain her students with her booty
poppin’ style and electric personality.
